You Can ‘Change Your Mind’
We all have the opportunity to decide what we think and feel. We can choose listen to negative self-talk or we can make our self-talk positive. Wallowing in negative feelings and thoughts lead to exhaustion and lethargy. If you don’t like the effect negative messages have on your life, change the message.
- It is possible to change your attitude and to get excited and enthused even when feeling down in the dumps.
- Feeling sorry for yourself is a waste of energy.
- We have nothing to complain about when we compared our troubles to those experienced by others in need.
- When you help others in need, your troubles disappear and you can feel energized and motivated.
- You can be more productive when you understand why you feel the way you do and determine what needs to be done to change things.
Enthusiasm and excitement can be manufactured and replace weariness in your life. It requires a decision to change, with persistence to create positive emotions.
