More GTD for Lotus Notes

Update December 15 2008: This outside links and names originally included in this post have been removed at the request of the individual in question.

In recent months I have posted a couple of items about using Lotus Notes as a GTD tool.

Unfortunately, the security policies on my Lotus Notes set-up in the office prevent me from running outside databases or templates, so I’m unable to give this a try. Looking through his documentation and screenshots, this looks like a good implementation of GTD.

GTD for Lotus Notes can be used to implement “Getting Things Done” – the productivity methodology created by David Allen. Check out David’s book for more info on his specific methods or check out this brief summary of the GTD methodology online.

The basic idea behind GTD for Lotus Notes is to have a system for tracking all of the STUFF you’re working on or have assigned to other people. With the tool you can easily see what today’s priorities are versus items which don’t need your attention today making your day more productive and stress-free!

I’ve tried to keep the interface and features as simple as possible while providing a very high level of sorting and visual indications to help you stay on top of your pile of STUFF.
