Over the next couple or so weeks, students in Canada will be changing from a relaxed summer schedule to the structured program of school and other activities. The key to success in achieving your academic goals is good organization and time management.

As you head back to school, here are a series of tips that can help students get organized:

Improve your work habits

In class

At home

Manage your time

Take notes to help you study
Write down the important points the teacher makes during a lesson:

How to take and organize notes

How to use notes to study

It’s never too early to develop good time-management systems. The productivity skills you develop as a student will serve you well the rest of your life.

hi ian! i really like this post. classes here in the philippines started last june and am now having problems with my eldest son regarding his study habits and grades. what you’ve written here will greatly help him achieve good grades. i think that if a student religiously follow your suggestions here, there would be no reason for him/her to get bad grades. thank you so much. wishing you all the best! keep on writing such relevant posts. good day.

nice points.i believe that if these points are kept inside the head , not only at school level but also for high school, college or for post graduate degree, any one can score much better marks.thanks.
