A Moleskine A Blackberry and Me

Om’s post is a little like things were with me this morning. I spent 3 1/2 hours in the CityTV studio, along with other Salvation Army types, providing some Christmas music throughout the Breakfast Television show.

It’s very much a “hurry up and wait” situation. You play for 30 seconds in to or out of a break and then stand around and wait until they need you again. I was able to use my Moleskine notebook, a Pilot G-2 Mini gel pen and a Blackberry to knock off a bunch of stuff that needed organizing.

When we were first issued Blackberrys last year, I tried juggling it with my Palm T3. Two PDA’s don’t work easily together. I find the notebook and the BB make a strong combination for keeping organized.

A simple Moleskin notebook (ultraportable), a Waterman pen (ultrareliable), and a Blackberry (just in case) to keep me company – I spent nearly four hours making a massive to-do list, thinking about tasks that need to be accomplished before the year is over. Little things that need to be taken care off, bills that need to be paid, and emails that need immediate attention.
