9 Procrastination Hacks

GTD Wannabe lists nine hacks she uses to help her overcome procrastination. There are some good ideas listed here. However, to determine how to best combat your procrastination, you first need to figure out why you procrastinate. The Wannabe answers that question for herself.

As I look down this list, I see a lot of things I am doing already, but I still have a procrastination problem. I use an accountability partner (my wife) who helps keep me on track. She has the freedom to remind me of my to-do’s (better than nagging) as much as she needs too.

  1. Turn off the TV.
  2. Techno Kicks It
  3. Keep Track of Time.
  4. Start Strong
  5. Plan Ahead
  6. Do It Tomorrow.
  7. Your Computer is a Distraction
  8. Your Desk Can Be A Distraction
  9. Pretend You Don’t Have Wireless
