We received a “gift” catalogue (pdf) from World Vision Canada a couple of weeks ago. If you are looking for gifts that make a difference some green gifts are available on the craft site etsy.com.
Several 'green' vendors provide cute but eco-friendly items. Green Goddesses, a shop on the site, even donates part of the profits to the Nature Conservancy.
