Taiwan Reports Record 34 New SARS Cases in One Day Reuters:

Taiwan reported on Saturday a record one-day rise in SARS infections on the island, raising the number of cases by 34 to 308.Taiwan, the third worst affected area after mainland China and Hong Kong, said the death toll remained at 35.
