People bounce back from tragedy, trauma, risks, and stress by being resilient. Resilience is the ability to cope with change in your world and environment. There is no one blueprint or map for everybody’s life and people need to be resilient to cope with change.

The following list can be thought of as a “personal resiliency builder” menu. Nobody is strong in every area from this list. When the circumstance of life get difficult, there are three or four of these qualities you use naturally and often.

It is helpful to know which are your primary resiliency builders; how you used them in the past; and how you cab use them to overcome current challenges in your life.

How are you resilient? Read this list of personal resiliency builders and identify three or four strategies that you use to be resilient.
