Google Docs as a Blogging Tool

Liz Strauss points to Google Docs as a “great find” blogging tool. I have created and posted content with Google Docs in its Writely incarnation. It is a powerful blogging tool, with one huge drawback, you can only set up one blog account. If you post to multiple blogs, you would need to manually change the settings each time you posted. Not all that convenient.

However, if you post to a single blog, Google Docs is hard to beat as a free blogging client. You have a fairly powerful on-line word processor, with a number of formatting features and spell check to help you create your posts. One great feature is auto-save. Google Docs saves your active document at regular intervals. Should you experience a breakdown during the writing process, you will not have lost that much content.

If you’re looking for a blog client and post to a single account, I suggest you check out Google Docs.
