One Step Closer to Google Office
Lost among the YouTube purchase fanfare is the merger of Google Spreadsheets with Writely into an online office suite called Google Docs & Spreadsheets. Logging into the new service, I find all my documents and spreadsheets amalgamated into a single listing. In true Google fashion, there is an Official Google Docs & Spreadsheets Blog.
Now, I’d like to see Google set it up so I don’t have to switch through a bunch of windows/tabs to access my various Google services. It would be great to select an item from the menu at the top of Google pages and have the new service load in the window.
