Blogging Tip - Join the Carnival
A blog carnival is a type of community posting structure. A carnival runs on a regular cycle, often weekly. A host blogger creates a post which lists links to a collection of articles on a specific topic. Blog carnivals are a great way to recognise the efforts of other bloggers, to facilitate searching for topic links, to connect with the knowledge of others in a field and to increase the awareness of your postings on a topic.
The best way to get a sense of how blogging carnivals work is to browse through a few. Carnival of the Vanities is one of the originals. The latest edition is Carnival of the Vanities #210.
