Autumn in the Edmonton River Valley.
Took the dog for a stroll (stroll means hanging on for dear life while the dog lunges in all directions) in the Rossdale area this afternoon. The trees are turning colour and shedding leaves. It was one of those great prairie fall days: bright sunshine and a coolness that hints of winter, soon to come.
I strung the camera around my neck. Now and then, when the scenery warranted, I’d pass the dog to Glenda and snap a few photos. Of course, being a curious, energetic, 75 pound puppy, the dog thrust himself into the picture-taking action. It is impossible to hold a camera steady with that kind of enthusiasm jumping at you.
Nevertheless, I prevailed and managed to get a few pictures taken. Clicking the thumbnails should take you to the pictures in Flickr.
