Be vague about what you want to accomplish. Don’t be specific about what you want to achieve.- Keep your goals to yourself. Don’t tell anyone about your dreams.
- Spend time with people who are not reaching their goals. Stay away from anyone who has clear goals and a plan to reach them.
- Avoid writing down your goals. Writing down your goals could be a step toward achieving them.
- Listen to your negative self-talk. If you do find yourself moving toward a goal, give in to your fears and doubts
- Give up the moment you run into an obstacle. An obstacle is a sure sign that you should give up on your goals.
- Take the advice of people who thinks your goals are impossible or a poor decision. Cynicism is more realistic than imagination.
- Never take a risk. Stay in your comfort zone, it’s safer.
- Do not start anything until you are sure of the outcome. Wait until conditions are “perfect” to move forward.
- See unwanted results for what they really are: failure. Most results will not be what you wanted, so you may as well give up now.
These 10 simple rules will help you settle for anything.
