How to stop procrastinating

This is post 10 of my series: .

Stop procrastinationOver the past ten weeks, I have written a series of posts to comment on the ten points made in this article from Psychology Today. I am not a psychologist. I have no training or professional experience in this area. However, I am a procrastinator. The posts I wrote reflect my experience and opinion on the points.

The final point states:

Procrastinators can change their behaviour—but doing so consumes a lot of psychic energy. And it doesn’t necessarily mean one feels transformed internally. It can be done with highly structured cognitive behavioural therapy. —Psychology Today

Can procrastinators change?

As I look back over 20 or 30 years in my life, I can see a big improvement in my behaviour in this area. My wife might find this hard to believe,  but I was much worse, once upon a time.

What are some of the things I have done to bring about the change?

How do these three steps play out in practical ways? Rather than revisit material I have posted aver the past few months, here are links back to posts with specific ways to overcome procrastination.

I hope some or all of these posts from Inside the mind of a procrastinator have been of benefit to you the reader. I am happy to realize I set a goal ten weeks ago, to write a series on procrastination, and have followed through on that commitment!
