Psalm 23:2-3

VERSE:
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. — Psalm 23:2-3

THOUGHT:
How busy are you? Do you really need to be that busy? We can easily get caught up in our plans or become full of our own self-importance. Sometimes the Good Shepherd needs to “make” us lie down in green pastures. He knows when we need to be refreshed. He then leads us. Not back into the ways of our making, but in the paths of his righteousness and holiness.
