Web Personal Start-Page Comparison

Rick Broida, the Alpha Geek, has posted a quick comparison of five start/home-page options.

I have tried them all and think Netvibes and Google are the best of the bunch. I use Google, not because I find it better than Netvibes, but because I have sold my computing soul to Google apps and services: Gmail, Google Reader, Docs and Spreadsheets are all part of my tech. toolbox.

This afternoon I discovered another start-page service called Protopage. While it looks interesting, I found it a little clunky to get up and running.

i’ve tried them all myself as well and must say that netvibes is the strongest. pageflakes is nice too but isn’t as stable i think. google needs more customization and then it could rival all, eventually?

I should play around with Netvibes a little more.

I lika protopage….really isa so nice!
