Getting Things Done in a Nutshell
Wallnote is being discontinued as of May 2007 and replaced by Nutshell – An easy to-do list, on-line notes and a search box on steroids, web-based solution. Wallnote was a similar service optimized for Windows Active Desktop. Apparently, Microsoft has dropped their Active Desktop technology in favour of Sidebar Channels, so Wallnote has been re-purposed for the net as Nutshell.
You sign up for a free account. From your account home page, you can enter simple notes and to-dos. These can be tracked on the page, by RSS, printed or e-mailed. There is also a search box that can be set to default to one of a couple-of-dozen search types. The search function has keywords with short cuts. Entering gm plus a search string will trigger a search for the string in Google Maps. Users can define further search keyword/shortcut combinations.
Currently, Nutshell is a service with simple note-taking and list capabilities. If your needs are basic, Nutshell will do. If you require more complex solutions, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

I actually got an email from those guys as well - it didn’t look like it was suited for GTD, but it did look like an interesting tool.
Thanks for the 411!
