How to Create a Calendar Entry from an E-mail in Lotus Notes
You can add an entry to your Lotus Notes’ calendar with a few keystrokes, when you start with an e-mail message. This is very helpful when the email contains information that would be useful to have in preparing for the meeting.
For example: Sandie sends an e-mail to requesting a meeting for Friday. She has included details of the discussion topic in the message. You want to keep the details so you can prepare for the meeting.
Here are the steps:
1) Open your in-box and select the message containing the appointment details.
2) Click the “Copy Into New” drop down box from the Action Bar and select “New Calendar Entry”.
3) Select the type of calendar entry you want to create.

4) A new appointment window will open with the information from the e-mail subject as the appointment subject and the e-mail text in the Description section.
