Meet the Blog: Zen Habits
Posted in Productivity Blogs

Today’s featured blog is Zen Habits. It would be impossible to read productivity blogs and miss the web phenom that is Leo Babauta. Zen Habits appeared in the blogosphere about 14 months ago and has had exponential growth. In that time, Zen Habits has become a Technorati Top 100 blog, with a current subscriber count close to 37,000.
Not only does Leo write high-quality content on his blogs, his writing is regularly featured as guest posts on many blogs:
- 10 Steps to Become an Email Ninja – The Blog of Author Time Ferriss
- 10 Frugalfying Ways to get to $1 Million – Wise Bread
- Minimalist Blogging – ProBlogger.net
- The 10 Biggest Mistakes Freelancers Make, and How to Avoid Them – FreelanceSwitch
just to name a few. Leo has recently started a new blog, Write to Done.
This past year, Leo wrote a series of posts called Zen To Done: The Ultimate Simple Productivity System.
Zen To Done takes some of the best aspects of a few popular productivity systems (GTD, Stephen Covey and others) and combines them with the mandate of simplicity. It makes things as simple as possible, and no more.
The series was a success and readers asked if it could be made into an e-book and so it was done. Click here to view more details.
The key to Leo’s success is not merely that he cranks out content day in and day out, but that he writes quality content, worth reading. For my recommendation, Zen Habits is a must-read for anyone interested in self-improvement.
Thank you Leo!
