Public can purchase $100 laptop
I would get behind something like this. I’d go further and kick-in $100.00 to see that one of these laptops got into the hands of someone in the developing world. Has anyone heard if such a plan is going to be available?
The backers of the One Laptop Per Child project are looking at the possibility of selling the machine to the public.
But customers would have to buy two laptops at once - with the second going to the developing world.
