E-mail tip: Sort messages using columns

You have about 200 messages in your in-box and one of your important clients calls you on the phone. You need to quickly find a message he sent you but it is buried somewhere in those 200 messages!

No problem! Just click on the FROM column heading in Outlook or the WHO column heading in Lotus Notes and it will quickly sort the messages alphabetically by Sender. Click the column heading again and it will reverse the sort (Z-A instead of A-Z).

This same trick works with any of the columns in the standard view so you can easily sort by flagged messages, messages with attachments, subject or date with a few clicks of your mouse!
